Step Light

These are made by HPM, reasonable price at $22 but 10W Halogen bulb which I'll convert to LED. There are heaps of funky looking step lights around but apart from the price they usually require the wall to be chased which I wasn't prepared to do 10 times over.

Saturn Switch Gear Arrived

These aren't cheap but the build quality is sublime and they make a statement. I just love the switches mechanical action, precise and positive.

Busy Weekend Part 2

I've been putting off a lot of jobs in the ensuite but this weekend I decided to bite the bullet and tackle all the odd jobs. First up the light/fan/heater unit, wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. Now all I need is the sparky to add the extra circuits and change the wall switch.

Solar Panels

This picture shows the solar panels positioned on the roof. They are a fairly high output panel so only 9 are required to make a 2kW array. No idea how it's performing as it's not connected to grid yet and as result won't give up any information.
